Paderewski in Recital - 2 CD Set
Paderewski, one of the most famous pianists of all time, made a successful series of
recordings for the Duo-Art piano in the 1920s. The Institute is proud to issue a 2 CD set
of these recordings made on a fully restored Steinway grand contemporary with the
publication of the original rolls.
"I am thrilled at what I have heard. A generation
ago, I was not an aficionado of piano rolls, but these are in a different class. The
performances convey Paderewski's style and musical speech, indeed his oratory."
Ronald Stevenson
